Annapurna Sanctuary Trek

This wonderful Himalayan trekking adventure to the wondrous Annapurna Sanctuary rightfully deserves its reputation as a classic and is widely regarded as one of the easier (but still awesome!) Himalayan treks.

Watching the world roll by from fields to forest and on to the skies, there's boundless magic to discover on the Annapurna Sanctuary Trek.

As we begin we pass through local villages, starting in rice fields before marching on to forests of rhododendron and oak. We'll be truly inspired by the mountains surrounding us and the magnificent panoramic views unfolding each day! It's not long before treetops give way to mountain tops and as we breach the treeline we find ourselves face to face with legendary Himalayan giants.

This trek is designed for people who wish to reach the Annapurna base camp in a relaxed manner with visits to World Heritage Sites and a climb of Poon Hill. If you have a shorter time frame then our Annapurna Base Camp Trek might be perfect for you.

When trekking with us, you can rest assured that our local staff are paid a decent living wage, get provided with all the right gear and are always well looked after. We pride ourselves on our ethics.

Even in Nepal, a place where Himalayan panoramas are abundant and astonishing, anyone who lays eyes on the Annapurna Sanctuary can't help but feel moved – “totally blown away” as many have said to us before. Wrapped and shadowed by a crown of some of the highest mountains on Planet Earth, the Annapurna Sanctuary has held a special place in countless religions and traditions for millennia. Long has it been believed that the heavenly reaches of the Annapurna massif are home to high deities from many major Eastern faiths, including Hinduism, Buddhism and even ancient Shamanic traditions.

Whatever your motivation for trekking to such lofty heights, we're sure you'll find everything you could hope for and more in this breathtaking and magical corner of Earth.
